Trim Your Toe Nails
This quick tip today is a simple reminder for everyone. The list things we have to remember to bring, take in to consideration, and review before going in to the backcountry can feel limitless. Because of this, we sometimes forget about the little things.
Ski boots are not the most comfortable thing to put on your feet in the first place. Do not make it worse by forgetting to trim your toe nails. Furthermore, you’ll be pounding on your toes with thousands of tiny impacts throughout a day. This can lead to serious damage to your toes or even a lost toe nail if you do not prepare.
So, next time you’re getting ready for a backcountry trip, don’t forget to trim your toe nails.
